Ecological and Environmental Protection

The RNSB Group has seriously taken up the issue of protection of the environment, in an effort to achieve a sustainable balance between development and environment protection. Environmental conservation is an integral part of any mining activity. Mined out areas and abandoned pits are systematically backfilled and green vegetation has been laid, including those along embankments of tailing ponds, etc. During every monsoon, large scale plantation of trees is undertaken adding to the scenic beauty of the surroundings, thus rapidly changing the landscape of barren mining areas.

Rajaram And Tarabai Charitable Trust

Various social activities are channeled through the RNSB Group’s Charitable Trust set up in loving memory of our Founder and Chairman late Shri. Rajaram N.S.Bandekar and his wife Smt. Tarabai Rajaram Bandekar. Its primary objective is for the upliftment of the society, both in the Mining Areas, as well as various other parts of India.
